Vita — Michael Momm / Foosh

Born in New York City, raised in Köln, and shaped by more than three decades spent between Los Angeles and New York. Now based in Berlin.

Studied psychology in Zürich and music in Köln before moving to Hollywood in 1987 to attend Musicians Institute.

Continuing in Los Angeles, founded Tiny Lights, a recording studio built in the former TTG Studios, and worked as a musician, songwriter, producer and recording engineer. Later continued Tiny Lights in New York, working in music production, A&R, and music for film and television.

As DJ Foosh, played private parties, fashion and art events, celebrity weddings and benefits in New York, Los Angeles and Europe.

Favorite gigs: Laurence Fishburne's wedding to Gina Torres, officiated by Elton John; Fort Tryon Park, NYC — September 2022; Bette Midler Foundation fundraiser parties; jazz musician Jason Moran's wedding; fashion designer Lisa Salvador at the Angel Orensanz Foundation, NYC.

In 2003, founded Loreley Restaurant & Biergarten on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, which brought a pioneering spirit of young Biergarten culture to New York. Expanded to additional locations in New York, Brooklyn and Los Angeles.
